Background:
Forest Town Primary School was built in 1906. It is in an H-shaped building with two corridors linked by a hall. A nursery was opened in 1996. The school has two playgrounds, a garden, a large field, and a science garden. French is taught in Year 6. Over 180 children attend after-school clubs on Tuesday night. Fundraising helps subsidise school visits by 50 per cent, and there is at least one visit per term. Horticultural therapy is provided for targeted children. New purpose-built ICT suite.
