Background:
Our Lady and St Edward's Catholic Primary School has its roots in the 19th Century, and was taken over by the Franciscan Order in 1930. The current school was built in two phases and was completed in 1964. It now serves a wide catchment area that includes the St Anns, Thorneywood and Sneinton areas of Nottingham. The school has strong links with the parish.
