Background:

Coxmoor Primary School is a county co-educational primary school for children aged from four to 11 years of age. The school was opened in January 1976 and was of open plan design with a hall and library area. It has a range of computer equipment and is connected to the internet. A computer suite has been created where classes of 15 pupils are taught specific ICT skills from Year 1 onwards. Music plays an importat part in school plays and concerts and children have the opportunity to sing in a choir. There are a variety of after-school and lunchtime clubs including: football, netball, basketball, and arts and crafts. The school aims to offer a happy, safe and secure environment in a family atmosphere.
