Background:
Haddon Primary and Nursery School is in an open plan building and was opened on April 26 1976. Each Key Stage area has four classrooms with withdrawal rooms for registration, discussions and small group activities. The school has an audio-visual room and a multi-media centre which includes library, computer suite, teachers' resource area and food technology area. There is a fully carpeted hall which is used for drama and P.E. lessons, school assemblies and other school activities. The school buildings are grouped around a central courtyard which is partially covered and used for woodwork sessions and environmental studies. Extra-curricular activities include football, singing group, art and a dance club.
