Background:
Westdale Junior School was opened in June 1953. The school is in Mapperley, about three miles northeast of the city of Nottingham in England. It has nine classrooms, a large hall and dining room and a large playground surrounded by trees. The school offers a fantastic range of lunchtime and after-school activities. These include art club, dance, Spanish and various music and sporting clubs. Children can learn to play violin and can join the choir or orchestra. This is a caring school where the child will be encouraged to achieve in a safe and positive environment.
