Background:
Built between 1966 and 1972, the school has 'large grassed' playing areas, football pitches and cricket facilities, as well as a large tarmac playground. The infants also have a 'large' playing area. The Friends of Walesby School organise social and fund-raising activities to support the school through the year. Extra-curricular activities involve after-school clubs for football, netball, basketball and music. Walesby is proud of the 'happy working atmosphere, high standards of achievement and behaviour at the school'.
