Located in the village of Norwell, eight miles north of Newark, the school was founded in 1727. The current building opened in 1966 and the site also incorporates a playing field and playground. In addition to swimming, athletics and other sporting activities, the school also offers regular specialist music tuition, currently brass, woodwind and violins, and the opportunity to play recorder and percussion instruments. It holds events to raise money for charity. 'The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice'.
